  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

What's your favorite tobacco blend aged, or to age

So if you could buy a few tins or bulk now to age for a couple years or a decade plus what would it be, I know Virginias are supposed to do the best over time but tell me about your personal favorites..... Aside from penzance

Any English blends that have done well that are actually available

I like Virginias but they tend to bite me, less as I let them sit, want to set a few things back in ye old cellar

I'm new to this but I'm trying to build up a nice stock pile of different tobaccos that I am pretty sure will age well that start out very strong. Sort of what I do with cigars, I figure my idea should translate fairly well to pipe tobacco as well. I am buying mostly bulk rope and flakes but also user friendly cuts to keep around. There aren't a whole lot of plugs around but I'm waiting to get my hands on Wessex Gold Brick. I'd like to buy and have some premade stuff on hand then I'll start buying whole leaf and making my own plugs and stuff.
