What a great question...and of course the answer is "it depends".

I find my choice depends on my mood, time of day, weekday vs. weekend, where I am, weather, etc.

But to answer this question I did the "pretend you were on a desert island and could only take one box of cigars" five times, each time eliminating the one I had just picked as a contender. So:
Siglo VI
Monte 2
RJ Duke EL
Partagas Lusitanias
Trinidad Robusto T

Are these the best 5 cigars out there? I doubt it, but they would do.

Sadly there is no #5... I'm situated as far west that you can go in the U.S.A and CC's are extremely hard to come by...

These are not the top 5 that I've had, but the top 5 regular production smokes that I would choose if I could only have 5 cigars.

Cohiba Robusto
Cohiba Siglo VI
Bolivar BF
Ramon Allones SS
PLPC

Narrowing to 5 is too tough. When a Monte is on, I enjoy the #1, #2, #4 and Edmundo, but consistency is all over the board. I enjoy aged Partagas but they wouldn't be my top 5. A good La Gloria Cubana is hard to beat when you want to change things up. And I really like any aged El Rey del Mundo. Oh, might as well throw in some Por Larranaga regionals, QdO's and some VR Classicos. I guess that's why my cabinet is overflowing!?! LOL :)
