  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

When will there be another Tatuaje Oscuro?

I was wondering why Tatuaje doesn't do more with oscuro wrappers?
What made you and DPG decide to drop oscuro? Will you and DPG come out with something in the future sporting an oscuro wrapper again?

I was thinking of taking the wrapper off of one my LfD A's and re-wrapping a Tatuaje A to see how it will come out.

Any input Pete?

There are a couple threads about them on here somewhere. Duane did an awesome box split on some!
Only 234 boxes were produced (or some ridiculously low number like that).

They were released in Nov 2006...I bought everything my b&m had, which was a full box and the remains of a second box, and then split them up as fivers here on the forum for people to try.

They were delicious smokes, with a deeper, richer flavor than the standard Noellas (which is one of my very favorite cigars anyways).

The Noella Reserva was the only one to have an oscuro cover on it.
We always only graded from Rosado to Rosado Oscuro. Me personally I like just a good dark natural like an old school Henry Clay.
Rob, yeah I don't have plans for anything ultra dark but the La Riqueza is a pretty juicy wrapper. Also Cabaiguan Maduro, more like the color of the Cohiba Maduro.
BTW, has anyone ever called you a rat or a poser? LOL. I am just messing with you. I got your PM and will reply soon.

Nah, never been called that. Been called worse though.

The La Riqueza's look pretty good and I'm sure I'll come across one in the near future. I haven't really been in the mood to by any Tatuaje/Cabaiguan for awhile...but hopefully that's all in the past. I have reasons motivating my decision but that might just be a dead horse.
