Where do you keep your pipe?

Where do you fellow forum members store your pipes?

I'm mostly interested in your ideas for travel solutions. So far, I've been using a cheap fake-leather pouch which does a decent job at keeping things (pipe, pipe tool, lighter, etc) together, but it doesn't block out the odor. As a result, my backpack really stinks and I have the feeling that it's only a matter of time before I hear from the missus on that subject.

I do not smoke a pipe but would think a xikar travel humidor or something along those lines would work well

Ummm... I never really thought of that. I always kept it in a Ziploc bag afterwards (don't ask me why hahaha I like to keep things in one spot)

Try putting your case in a small tupperware container the seal will help with the odor problem.

I was keeping mine in a Plano Guide Series Case ( http://www.planomolding.com/2010/07/guide-series-waterproof-cases/ ) Right now I just have it sitting in the center console of my truck. In the case I had no smell and the pipes were well protected. I should probably start carrying that way again but I have been admiring some of the leather Peterson Pipe cases so we will see.
