BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE
Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

I live outside in the burbs for a reason. Our town would not make the top 1000.
Oh man, Flint is always at the top of these lists, but instead of bringing it down, I'm going to speak positively about it! Maybe with a little help we can get it back to the pristine days of its past.
Did you guys know that Flint was the very first city in the U.S. that AC/DC played at? That's right, Flint, MI brought AC/DC to America. And for that I love Flint!

They drank the koolaid. When I was just getting out of the Army and looking at Grad Schools, I looked at UOP back in '85 and the City looked worst than Tillicum, WA, Lawton, OK and Anniston, AL all rolled into one.
Wound up at UW (Go Huskies) and only fate and Intel Corporation brought me back to Cali.
Heck, there's not even a cigar lounge in a City of almost 300k!
#5 Philly O.K. to visit but I wouldn't want to live there.
I was too, until my parent escaped for Phoenix when I was 8. And things in Detroit just got worse . . . . Although the suburbs seem about as nice as anywhere else, at least in the summertime.

Very true, Oakland County (Novi, Bloomfield Hills) ranks up there with anywhere else that's considered a luxury suburb community.
