  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

where to start??

Hey all, I am a recent cigar newbie and am ordering a 100 count humidor today or tomorrow and wanted to get some recommendations from you guys on what I should try. I read alot in the past week and have gained interest in these so any help would be much appreciated: CAO, 5vegas, torano, oliva, cusano, rocky, a fuente, gurkha, Padron and perdomo.

Find a good cigar store, (B&M). Have them guide you through the various sticks. Try a couple three of each the suggest. Read the reviews here. It is a fun road you travel.

100 count humi is fun to look back on in a year. If you've caught the bug, it will fill up quick. I was surprised at how many cigar I NEED to have on hand at any given time.

Welcome to the Brotherhood, please enjoy your stay!

I remember my first humi, it was a freebie meant to hold like 20 sticks maybe on your desktop. I just bought my first nice one but it's only a 300 count. I think that was a mistake, I should have bought a larger one..... :smokingbo

Like they said....started with a desk top 25 count, next a 300 count, now that plus two medium sized coolidors........you're hooked.

Same here, and I'm guessing many of us started that way. I recall mine came with a box of Maria Mancini DeGualle Maduros.
Mine came with a sampler pack of mild cigars. I still have a lot of them left as I've added some mild/medium and a medium sampler pack. I also just bought my first box of cigars. :applause:

Welcome eney don't let these guys fool you, a 100 count is perfect to start with. Hang around here every day and by Independence day you'll be lookin for a 300 count, by Labor day you'll be lookin at Cabinets. Like a snowball rolling down hill.

No joke, my little 125 stick is about full and I have been toying with the idea of another. You will get hooked if you hang around here much...
