which is better?-Part 2

pretty much narrowed it down to my first pipe being a Peterson.but my question is this. looking at the Peterson Sysytem Pipes i see how that would help in having a dryer smoke but are they that much better then other peterson pipes? if so why not produce all peterson pipes this way.is there more upkeep to the system pipes compared to the reguler line,cleaning,maintence,etc or viceversa .i am looking at the Peterson Donegal Rocky #68 priced at $64.75 which is the first thumbtack and the second one is the Peterson System Rustic #317 which is priced at $77.75. i know there is only a $10 difference in price but does one pipe smoke better then the other?

If I were to buy a Peterson I would get a system pipe.

I would think that not everyone likes the system so that is why they make both.
