  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Ok, so I think I have now tried all of the Tatuaje's that are set to be released in the near future or are already available. I was just wondering what y'all thought which new stick is the best.

Ambos Mundos
Noella Reservas
Regio Reservas
Reserva SW Maduro
Cojonu 2009
Verocu No.9
Cohete

Let me know if I missed something, but I think that is it.

For me, the decision was between the Noella, Regio, and SW. All three of these sticks were nothing short of fantastic. They burned well, had a fantastic draw, flawless construction, beautiful oily wrappers and some new subleties added to the original flavors. To date I have smoked four of the Regios, five or six of the Noellas, and only one fo the SW's. WIth all of that in mind, I have to say that the Noella Reserva is my favorite. I loved this thing from the second I lit it until it almost burned my fingers. I would honestly put it in my top five cigars. The crazy thing iis that the SW, Regio, and Conjonu could fall in right behind it. So, here's to Pete and his incredible ability to produce such astronomical products again and again.

for me, the regios is the best so far. primarily because it's most like the frank, which is my favorite. the noella and the 09 are neck and neck behind that.

Out of those the cohete is just incredible... But for $9.50 for a petite robo that is absolutely way out of line, Pete can keep them for that price... Sorry Pete just way to pricey, thankfully it was a gift from a good brother:thumbsup:

I wont' say how many of these options I've smoked, because you'd all gasp and frown. But I have a Cohete and some Noella Reservas thanks to Don, some Ambos Mundos thanks to xddco, and I' sure I'll get the others at some point.

So are the Regio Reserva going to be a regular line like the Cojonu and Reserva SW, etc or are they super-limited like the SW Maddie or Noella Reserva?

I've smoked:
Amobos Mundos - I prefer sumatra than habano, nice CP, but need more richness.
Noella/Regios Reserva - I prefer Regios Res. than Noellas Res..
Cohete - awesome vitola! I wish that Pete make this vitola as regular release.
Cojonu 2009 - I'll try it tomorrow.

Verocu No.9 - Holt's don't ship to Japan...

I can definitely see the SW Mad being one's favorite stick, it is incredible. Actually all of these sticks (except the Ambos Mundos) are incredible. There is no possible way the the Noella Reserva is an 8.5 on any scale, that stick is just too good. It is blended perfectly with the rich complex flavors presenting themselves so well. The wrapper, although not the prettiest I have ever seen, gives the stick an incredible flavor. Not to mention I have now smoked a good number of these and have yet to have a draw problem, burn issues, etc. Just had to get in my defense of the Noella or I wouldn't sleep tonight.

Dave i would agree its a great stick as well but I was let down by it that it didn't knock me over buy suprize. Everyone was MINI FRANK! MINI FRANK! so when i tried a few I was like damn good but no Frank! When I got the Reserva Maddy I was like whole---ly shit is this thing great. But yes both are a top 5 of mine as well! On futhure review Ill give the Noella res a 9.1(he he)
