So Igloodor option is put on hold since the igloos cost more than $60 dollars in my country. One was almost $80! So I asked for a Lock&Lock large container and while I wait for it, I decided to use "temporary" a tupperware container of my mom. I think I'll stay with it if it works for cigars.

According to Tupperware (Link) it is fridgesmart and has 2 small buttons that work like a venting system. It is approx. 6 x 12 x 3½ . I washed it and let it dry, now it is completely closed with some baking soda inside to remove odor. What you guys think?

I hate boxes inside humidors But if that helps humidor well, ok.

On the other hand, should I open one of the small openings? It gives some air circulation to the tupperware. How would that affect the humidity? (assuming I store this inside a closet)

I would leave the openings closed. Humidors are designed to be sealed and while some seal better than others the opening in your tupperware container will just allow the RH of the container to equalize with the outside environment -- usually not a good thing...

You will get enough circulation through opening up the container to add or remove cigars. If you want air circulation inside the container, look at acquiring a small battery operated fan (lots of them to choose from).

I found 3 great options below $100 bucks for a humidor. I want it to hold more than 100 cigars. So 100-200 it's my option but below $100..i know i know, can't go cheap but i'm tight on the budget right now and need the humidor since i live in the Dominican Republic and the temperatures and humidity are killing me.

already bought from a guy called "gadgetbestbuy" a BAD humidor. He and "easysource" sells bad humidors...dont buy.
