Which shoe do you put on first?

Am I the only one who has to put on my left shoe first? If I grab my right shoe, I'll put it down to pick up the left shoe to put on first. Interested in what others do... vote!

I totally do the same thing. I always notice that i grab the left shoe first, always.

I put my left shoe (and sock) on first. I don't know why. I think it's because I have an easier time crossing my left leg than my right, so I cross my left leg over my right thigh and then tie my shoe and then slip my right foot . . . oh hell, you guys don't care about any of this. . . .

there was an episode of all in the family where archie and mike argued about putting on shoes and socks. archie put on both socks and then both shoes. mike put on one sock and shoe, then the other. archie argued that if you had to run outside quickly, you'd have on both socks. mike argued that he'd hop on one leg and keep his feet dry.

I used to put on whatever one I grabbed first but know that I think about it since I had my left hip replaced a few years ago I always slip on my right then sit and put on my left then I tie them both while sitting.
