My sister used to teach english in China. One weekend her and the other foreign teachers were all bussed to Beijing for a Huge parade in their honor. Turns out it was supposed to be for some foreign ambassadors. When they cancelled, the Chinese govt rounded up all the white people they could find, and passed them off as the ambassadors.
