World Baseball Classic

Who else is excited about this? I could care less about the olympics but the world baseball classic is going to be interesting. I personally will be routing for Cuba myself.

Well two games happened:
Korea 2, Chinese Taipei 0 (not too surprising)

But check this one out:
Japan 18, China 2

China was supposed to be promising from what I had been hearing but Japan pretty much slaughtered them in that game.

They didn't even finish till the 9th inning, they pleaded mercy.

ok, no more football... thats fine.
basketball?? personally i cant stand it.
hockey?? i like it, but cant find it half the time on t.v.
nascar... i like nascar but only in moderation... the first and last 50 laps
baseball??? oh yea!!!!! cant wait for the opener....:clap:

Ok, looks like out of Pool A, Korea and Japan are moving on. China and Chinese Taipei didn't make it through.

In the other pool Dominican Republic beat Venezuela one game and USA beat Mexico 2 to 0.

I saw Derek Lee hit a deep homer off of the Orioles' Rodrigo Lopez.

Canada just beat USA 8 to 6, so now USA is 1-1.

Well the update today is that USA scored 17 to South Africa's 0 so they are still in it! I paid the $10 to watch all the games online, so right now I am watching Puerto Rico vs Cuba which should be a good game.
