  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

So... I wonder how many supporters of "World No Tobacco Day" are the same people who cry inconsolably when some rare species of plant life in the jungle (I mean "rain forest") is declared extinct?

Hey Dan, not to bust your nuts but...

I'm one of those who advocate the preservation of all indigenous plant species, the limitation of invasive plants that could cause rare species to go extinct, eco-conscious living, responsible agriculture, social services for the needy, etc... I also disagree with Americas current wars, and a lot of what my country has done in the past years under the guise of "national security" (mostly the CIA-backed, state-sponsored terrorism known as "Operation Condor" throughout Latin America)... and yet I smoke all the same. :peace:

Is this a serious post? I have to say, sir, you and I have very serious different points of view based on this one post.

I smoked a JdN 1970 and got my dad sh*t-faced with some Ledaig... It was hard getting a 265 pound man off the concrete.

It is a most-serious post. Curious to see what you find contradictory.
Maybe you should ask this question in the debate forum instead of highjacking the thread. Just saying!

And...to answer the thread question...I never even new about the "World no tobacco day". But, I had an Oliva V Maddy! Yum!!

That sir would require a face to face with at least double coronas and several of our favorite beverages. Not so much as I disagree but I have different angles on the subjects you touched on.
This type of medium is not my best way to communicate. Too many chances for misunderstandings. That's one bad thing about these boards. You rarely get to meet face to face and have those deep discussions that make the world more fun.

As such, maybe someday we can have some fun and continue that particular conversation in person.
