Xikar Resource Pipe Lighter Adjustment?

What do you all use to adjust the flame of the Xikar Resource pipe lighter? This adjustment screw was horribly designed.

One that fits. LOL. I have to find one in my tool boxes that actually fits it. That's why I said it was poory designed. Went through 4 standard screwdrivers already... Who wants to have to go looking for a screwdriver while trying to light or relight your pipe?

I usually use a glasses repair kit has a tiny screw driver... I got from walmart like 1$

They are a bit of a pain, that said I have found that on the cheap pipe tamper we have at that shops the "scoop" on the other end sometimes work. some tampers will do the job as well.

I tried a Leatherman Wave, keys, and small Wenger Swiss Army Knife. If I don't find a screwdriver that fits, I'm sure my 8 pound short handled sledgehammer(us Ironworkers call them beaters) will work just fine to do the proper adjustment. :thumbdown:

Might just have to grab one that's too big, take it to a grinding wheel and make your own custom adjustment screwdriver to throw in your smoke kit. I've had to do that before at work for electronics w/ odd screw heads...

I bought this sucker a year ago and it works so good...never have to deal with these stupid types of adjustment screws. Another good thing about it is that on the other end it is the tool that lets you purge the tank. I got mine for like $9 and you can put it on your key chain.
