Bought the stratosphere 3 or 4 months ago in anticipation of my spring turkey trip to Cloudcroft, NM, which is right at 9,000 feet above sea level. Bought some "special" sticks to smoke while I'm up here as well. Today has been the best day since Saturday so I figured I'd light a Famosos before the afternoon hunt. Only one problem though. My "Stratosphere" lighter simply won't light at 9,000 feet! If you put "Stratosphere" on it shouldn't it light at "high altitude"??? C'mon Xikar! WTF???

BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE
Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.
