Xikar Stratosphere

Has anyone handled one of these lighters yet? Im curious about the "high altitude turbo flame"

Used one yesterday that the xikar rep had, he had the clear one with him. The flame was a little different than the normal xikar torches I have seen, as a little wider and not as high. Hard plastic body, seems like it would be pretty durable.

Pick one up yesterday! So far i really like it, me and the guy at Tinder Box were dropping them on the ground they and they help up with no damage. I live in Utah and i am going to be testing the high altitude of this lighter today, i am going to head up to some places that over 10,000 feet and at some point i am going to hike kings peak with it and see if it lights at the top that is 13,528 feet above sea level. i will let you know how it does!

That's a good idea. I smoked quite a few cigars on the week vacation I was in CO. We were at 8000-1200 feet the entire time, and none of our lighters wanted to work.

So far I absolutely love it. It is completely windproof and lights a cigar no problem. I'm taking it above 12,000 feet tomorrow and will let you guys know how it does

Even though you are on flat land, it is still handy if you want something that works well in the wind like on a golf course. Btw, are you going to be back for marvins event? I'm looking forward to trying that custom viaje Koa he is going to have.

Great to hear from u. I can't wait to get a koa. They should be tasty. I hope to be there I'm trying my best. If I make it out we can do the O' Tooles herf again. LOL.

was looking at these a couple of days ago on Emerson's site look durable enough but I prefer a soft flame but suppose there may be a time I might need these.

Just bought one on monster for 19.99. I'm going camping in a couple weeks, I figured what the hell. I have had lighter problems in the past at high altitude.
