  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

The cigars all come cedar wrapped. Now the Perfection is always cedar wrapped, but it's a nice bonus to have the RdC and Robusto draped as well!

Purchased my first Opus today, Fuente Fuente. Was hoping to smoke it over the Christmas break. The B&M guy told me to let it age a year in the humidor.

Damnit! Now I am going to have to find a tin. None of my RDCs or Robos are cedar wrapped.

It's price...duh!
I'll believe it when I see it. I personally find it hard to believe that one Opus is worth 2, 3, heck maybe 4 good cigars!
Well I do not have a ton like say maybe Matt or Wade, but I do have several I keep on hand. I do not but a ton but they are very good IMHO. But to each there own.

What's not to love about a OPUS.
Best cigar made in my opinion,,,if you can get them at sticker, they are worth it but I won't buy at the inflated pricing some people charge,,,they should be shot for charging that much for a cigar,,,,no matter what excuse they claim to have.

Very true,,,if you smoke them fresh they will do some damage to you (unless they have been stored for at least a year before you bought them) but I would advice leaving it to some rest before smoking,,,much better cigar with age on them.

None really, if you leave them wrapped long enough they pick up a slight cedar flavor.
Very true,,,I have about 20 of these in different sizes and about half with the cedar wrap. These are probably about 3-5 years old and when I pull one out you can taste the difference.

I keep a few on hand too, don't get me wrong I like them. I just find it easier to spend the same money on other stuff but I do buy a few Opus a year. Hell and thanks to Kumar (wigwam motel) I have an A which I have wanted for 2-3 years now.

That's one more than me been wondering when would be a good time to smoke them... So far my favourite NC has to be Tatuaje. Now I pull my hair every time Matt offers them for sale.

Actually Opus are good right from the B&M as well as letting them age. If you bought it to smoke today, Smoke it. They are a good stick.
