Thank goodness for weekends.

The software says I last logged in on 6/12 @ 6:40 am and there are 975 unread posts since then.

I'll do my best to catch up before next week which is going to be almost as busy.

Anyways, I missed you guys.

I need some sort of device. I will probably be without service from 6/28-7/7. Please don't weep. I will be back soon to post pad and share my joy in the leaf. :smokingbo

Yeah.

Remember way back when I was asking if you had seen the sensor system the Forestry Service is flying to capture imagery?

Well, we finally got our newer version of that airborne in a UH-1 Huey this week.

It was pretty cool to be at the military hanger all week but I really don't like the 12 hour days it required.

It's good to be back, that's for sure.

We flew with two different lenses at different altitudes but overall anywhere from .5 inch to 8 inch pixels.

I.e. one pixel covers that much ground.

Todd ... if you were waiting for (some of) the rest of us to catch up so we could have a competitive race to 10K posts, I think you will need to stay off until October ...

... 2007

Nice to have you back.
