Smoked Pizza.

Started off by smoking the crust for about 20 minutes at 300 deg F. Then brushed on a balsamic vinagrette with garlic and basil in it. Add shredded buffalo mozzerella, smoked italian sausage, roma tomatoes and fresh basil. then smoked the whole thing again for about 30 minutes and sprinkled with some more of the balsamic vinaigrette.

Truely a pizza that tastes like nothing youve ever had. Very unique, but very good.

Oh, i used white oak for the smoke.

Served with a bottle of YellowTail Reserve Merlot from 2006. Pretty darned good for $10.

Looks tasty! I started grilling pizzas last summer and people thought I was crazy. It really makes a different pizza all together. Plus you are outside, so naturally you can have a smoke which makes everything better......
