Well with my new iPod I had to get it installed in the car. Yesterday I took apart the dash to run a cable for a direct plug-in.
I started off reading my Haynes manual (a must for anyone that wants to do work on their own car :yes. Got the dash apart and looked at the back of my headunit, crap I don't have any RCAs in!!! Go to the headunits manual, I needed a part. Go online to find out what part and where to get it. Great, circuit city has it. Bad news, I only have one car. :argh: Put mine back together, go to circuit city, get the part and go back home.
Get the dash back apart, run the wire, tested the system and it works. Zip tie everything up, put it back together and now I have a direct hook up with the iPod. :sing::guitar:
