Last Friday I was out to lunch at a local brewpub. I brought a corona along for the ride. Well we had a couple people who like to make comments but won't say anything directly to me. :bickering:nono:

I finished my cigar, they said nothing the whole time but it just annoys me. They are saying it loud enough that I could hear but don't have the nuts to say it to my face People were smoking cigerettes all over the place and they have to comment about my cigar.

To all those people, :angerFU::angerFU::angerFU::angerFU::boxing::fencing::rifleaim::assaultri

:wtf: that just reminded me of an experience i had about 2 years ago.

i was at the casino (well before i started working there) with a buddy and we were at the money wheel. I lit up one of my recently aquired cohiba esplendidos and was happily puffing away for a good 10-15 mins. a younger lady came up to the table, probably in her mid 20s, and stood next to me but a few feet away. after about 5 min she asked me if i would put out my cigar because the smoke was bothering her, and she said that she was pregnant. she was polite enough, so i said no problem and moved to the other side of my buddy, a good 8-10 feet away from her. 5 min or so later, she reaches into her purse and grabs a pack of cigarettes, pulls one out, puts it in her mouth, and lights up.

moral of the story: apparantly 2nd hand cigar smoke is worse for unborn babies than 1st hand cigarette smoke. :dunno: :scratchhe

god that f'in hypocritical moronic stupid shit pisses me the f off :angerhead

haven't you seen the commercials, Second hand Smoke kills. :smokingbo Thas why it's safer to smoke, than to be around people who smoke :thinkidea .

I have experienced the same situation as Caudio51, people will start the whole coughing, saying remarks to other people, and dirty looks, but will not say a word to me or anyone else smoking. I don't stand near them, or blow smoke towards their direction, but if they are going to the trouble of putting such an act, I will be lighting up as often as I can. :devil:

I was in the smoking part of a sports bar and everyone around me was smoking. I light up a cigar and you would have thought I took a shit on the table. Everyone around us started complaining and I would not put it out. If you can smoke cigars there and people do not like it, then bitch to someone else. I kept enjoying my beer and smoking my cigar. My buddy did the same and I milked that thing for 45 minutes!

We go to a night club in Ventura that has a live band on Saturday night. The palce is great because it has a small inside bar, dance floor and place for the band, then everyone sits outside at small tables. The proprietor has always welcomed cigar smokers. As a matter of fact, we have probably kept her in business in the thin times. Four of us were sitting at two tabels on the outside and I had just lit a nice Vegas Robaina Unico when a young woman two tables away walked over and asked me to put it out. The interesting thing was everyone at her table, four or five women, were smoking cigarettes and she said she had a reaction to cigar smoke. Being the nice man I am I politely told her that this was a rather nice cigar and perhaps her reaction was to cheap cigars. No I was not going to put it out but I would trade tables with her so she was upwind. She declined and at this point my buddies seeing my predictament all lit up various NC's to join in the fun. The young woman returned to our table and asked my buddy if she could try a puff of his davidoff. Being a gentleman, and this was a very good looking young woman, he handed her his cigar which she promptly threw out into the street. We were astonished. The proprietor, has seen the whole thing and came over. Off course the women complained bitterly of our smoke. The owner told them it was a ciagr smoking establishment and asked them to leave. One of the few victories I can ever remember.

Wow, now that's a real bitch right there.

While this would never happen to me as I would not think of sharing my cigar with anyone ... if it did, I think I would have gotten mad initially ... but I think then I would have just reached into my humi and gotten a BIGGER cigar out. Then I would have asked my friends to move over to the table right next to theirs. :fencing:
