Since I smoked my first Opus X this evening I got a good look at this band when I had to remove it. It might be the nicest looking band I've seen so far. This promted the question, "What's your favorite cigar band?" Please base your answers on the look of the band disregarding your like or dislike of the cigar itself. This should be interesting!

Almost all of the Torano bands are quite nice. Perdomo EDS is another that springs to mind.

I just checked the old post. I'm glad Vipe hasn't hammered me yet for the Opus post! :eyebrow:

That's because we were discussing cigar bands in the habanos forum. But just for fun....

La Aroma de Cuba has a great looking band. This thing is like artwork, very detailed. Looking closely at the amount of detail and embossing in this band makes me wonder what it costs to produce these verses a simple Padron band.

I thought the Oliva Master Blends band was unique ... especially with the additional laser etched portion directly on the cigar.

Also the Oliva "O" series with the cloth bands was very different.

Of course Opus. I like many of the CAO bands, they're just eye catching.

Ashton VSGs are classy. Diamond Crown Maximus and La Aroma De Cuba are nice too!

My favorite N/C band is the Cuesta-Rey Centro Fino bands. Very classy bands. And the Casa Fuente bands come in a distant second.

Most of my favorites gave already been mentioned.

I'd have to add the IT Cameroon Legend, PI Maxima Reserva and the Padron 1926 40th Anni.

(All VERY good cigars, also.)
