A Mojito or a margarita on the rocks. And there's always the good ole standby of rum and diet coke.

Check the sig tag.
And Mojitos.
And Negronis.
Simple stuff (rum/coke gin/tonic, etc) are good for when you're in a bar you've never been in before and you're not sure about the bartender.
They're also great when you've had a lousy day at work and want a quick drink.

I pretty much drink Long Islands when I go to the bar, but will have to occasional Bloody Mary. I'm not that much of a mixed drink guy.

Beer is good food.

Rain Vodka, Splash of tonic, Splash of sour, lime optional. I don't know what it's called but that's what I drink when I'm mixing.

My recent favorite:

Orange Crush
2/3 glass ice
1/4-1/3 glass Vodka
1/3 Sprite
1/3 Fresh Squeezed OJ

Mix in shaker & pour back into glass

additionally: can top with 1 shot Grand Marnier

Be careful

Tends to be seasonal. It has been a hot summer so we hit the gin & tonics and mojitos. Old standby is rum and diet coke. Most bartenders can't screw that up.
