What's new
  • I've said this before - but this is just a reminder. I'll be breaking BOTL over time in order to get it into a far better place. Just be patient if you can't reach us! We'll be back

I'm assuming your smoking spot was one of the 1st things you got fixed up in the new house! Should be a lot warmer!
Yes, MUCH warmer. The weather has been perfect here. Other than July and August.
It was hot and so humid, so smoking a cigar and sweating aren't much fun, but I lived to tell the tale.
I'm sure your very used to that situation Al.

Very nice, a bit different then Tahoe. I think I can enjoyably smoke outside less then 100 days a year. Summer is incredibly hot and buggy winter incredibly wet and cold. Tried to smoke in 65 degrees at 85% humidity yesterday. The first third was fine but after that it was like trying to burn wet cardboard. This afternoon its 64 degrees and 91%

Are pipes afffected by high humidity as bad as cigars?

I rely on fans with filters and lots of Febreeze in my office

Seems like I've posted pics somewhere in BOTL, but apparently not in this thread where they belong... started cleaning out the barn and adding walls, rooms, storage shelves, and entertainment area back in 2020 as a way to have something to do during COVID. I've done a little more finish work in the past year or two, as materials become available (like the granite from our kitchen renovation). Still finding cool shit to hang on the walls...

I've added DirecTv by sweet-talking my way into a free install, only paying $200 for the dish and a couple bucks a month for the box. Installed a PtP wireless bridge this fall to get internet from the house. TVs and furniture are leftovers after upgrades at the house.

Pics are looking around the barn from left to right...
