Fixed up that truck would be hot!

Right now, it is just damn cool.
Oh, it will be. I plan on stripping it all the way down to the frame (Thank god for old bolt on manufacturing), and rebuilding it from the ground up. New coils, 6 inch lowering in the back and 4 in the front, new rear end (it's killing the gas milage), new or rebuild the tranny (Don't really need the granny gear and it whines like crazy). Et cetera and what not.

Final act will be a burgundy paintjob so thick and good it looks like water with a khaki interior. Gonna be down right beautiful in the end.

I know. I had one of the first ones off the line and babied it for two years when I lived in Michigan. Kept it shiny and clean.
Got tired of being a wimp and got this one used with 25K on it. Now it has 90K and abour 20K off road. 22 inch rims. Its hauls deer carcasses just as well as my old Scout and is much more comfortable. It just looks better muddy:rolling:

Ha...reminds me of when my dad sold one of the first 4x4 Navigators to a farmer in LA. He would spit chewing tobacco on the inside of it and take it offroading. About a month later he traded it in for something else. That was one dirty ass Navigator :sadcry:

My wife keeps telling me to buy another car but this was the first car that I bought myself so I'm attached. I'm trying to figure at what point repair costs will outweigh a new car payment so it would make sense to sell it. Not there yet.
