Seriously, you have a DuPont you bastard!? I was thinking of a lighter we carry called a Thunderbird, totally different produce, didn't know there was a different insert. Roman, looks like you may have a winner here.

You aren't missing a whole lot not having a DuPont. They are pretty much a luxury item. They don't wear very well. The longer I have had one the uglier it gets. They don't take standard tips for fuel so either you leak some while filling it or you have to deal with the silly plastic adapter things. They don't light any better than a $5 Ronson torch.

A zippo actually looks better the more beat up it gets, and if the insert stops working you get a replacement. The soft flame looks cool also. I am thinking a torch really isn't required anymore. Sure it works for a fast light, but they didn't exist when cigars were invented. Sometimes you end up with a more uneven burn anyway.

That does look sweet. If I ever got another ST DuPont, no matter what model I wouldn't carry it in my pocket or anything. I guess I learned that the hard way. okemyeye
