I never understood MOST tattoos. Tom Segura has a bit on them, and he is spot on. Everyone has some story for their tats, and it's always just barely connected, or nearly irrelevant. It seems to come down to "I want a tattoo, what vague unrelated story could I concoct for an excuse to do this..."

I actually appreciate it more when people tell me their tattoos mean absolutely nothing but they love the artwork. At least they are honest and aren't creating some false meaning.
That being said, I have a couple bad tattoos I got when I was too young to get tattoos. I've grown to like them in a weird "you live and learn" kind of way. What seems like a good idea at 17 or 18 will seldom seem like a good idea 10 years later, lol.

I have seen some amazing tattoos, and some horrible ones, but personally i like the ones that have an actual meaning to them. Not a concocted story, but one that had meaning.

Agreed. I don't get tattoos so that other people can enjoy them, I get them for me.

I have a decent amount of tattoos myself, a few for the beautiful artwork and the meaning behind it, which signified a time period in my life that made me who I am today. That said I do also have a few tattoos as others here seem to have as well that I had gotten when I was much younger, which I would change, such as my lip tattoo.
But I must say, I do like the philosophy someone else already said "you live you learn." So at the end of the day, was a lesson learned for me. That said, the undercrown tattoo definitely could have been done much nicer in my opinion with a little more artistic creativity put into it to put it lightly.

And yes the under crown tat is a bit off quality wise..
Crazy 9 years...how faded is it? I have Veni vidi bibi on my ribs lol that was during my Dumb party hard years.
