I keep one larger Boveda in each Tupperware. I had some beads but my hydrometer stopped working so I pulled them
Out. I haven't gotten a new one yet. The bovedas are just to get me by till I do.
I'd leave those Tupperware containers open and just throw the humi packs in the cooler. The seal on a cooler doesn't allow for any air exchange unless you have a drain plug. Having your sticks sealed twice in one container will end up being a problem. "Burp" that cooler at least once a week for some fresh air as well.. Empty cigar boxes and cedar sheets found in some boxes work great in coolers too. Take the tops off and arrange in the bottom to your liking and rub them down with a little distilled water. Let them dry enough and throw your singles in. An inexpensive humidor

That's a good idea. And yeah the Tupperware are open now. After a day I noticed the sticks seemed a little too humid so I popped them open. I don't have to worry about the burping cause I only have about 50 sticks and they are the ones I always smoke so it gets opened every day lol. I may have to grab some empty boxes though thanks for the tips brother. It's much appreciated.

No problem. I used a coffin sized humidor for years set up that way and to tell you the truth, with all sorts of un varnished boxes of different sizes arranged in there full of singles, it looks pretty dang good. Good luck!

Perfect, thanks again. The shop's around me suck, they usually don't have boxes left. I'll try and track one down that does.
If you call some of the online guys, they may sell them. If you order something from Famous they may sell or give you some. Worth a try
Wish I would have thought of that, maybe I can still get a hold of them before they ship out my order.

I can't believe your shops don't just give boxes away. I give every one of our empty boxes away for free. The ones left over go in the fire pit as they are excellent kindling!

I just slid the lids off of a few of my cigar boxes to use in my tupperdor
That will work too. Ask the guys at your B&M to save you the thin sheets that come out of some boxes to save on space. I'm sure they throw them out anyways ,so I can't imagine they would say no. If not, I'll send you all you want

I bought a footlocker cause this place drove me into a purchasing frenzy. Hell, the tupperdor might be put to work again shortly.

I don't sell empty boxes I give them all away. The only problem is your in Cali and I'm in Alabama. I can't imagine how much it would cost to ship a bunch of boxes! Now the cedar sheets would be simple to ship.

3. If you put a box in it. While still without cigars put a glass with a sponge (new, unscented) filled with distilled water for a couple days so the box gets humidified.
Since it's not a humidor, you don't have to worry about the seal warping. You can just wipe the box down with some distilled water. No need to wait for the slow absorption from ambient humidity, you can speed it along a little bit since the tiny bit of possible warping won't affect anything.
