I just got in a bundle of PdR corona gordas. Kinda mad that they were just coronas, since I payed $2 for gordas. I know thats .10 a gar, but every cent counts! They ended up being the PdR habano sungrown coronas. One of my favorite lances all time, so a shorter, slightly larger RG is not too shabby.

Got a bundle of EPC coronas in, I'm pretty sure they're the regular Regalias Real, they're 46x5+, and they have what looks like a sumatra wrapper.

Looks like I shoulda gone with the PDR!

So I ordered two bundles of Nic Boutique Overruns: Churchill (7×56?)and Robusto (6×54?).

I'm a little disappointed, because these are some of the crappiest wrappers ever seen. They are a dark maduro. Very mottled in color showing a slight tooth. I have had better luck with natural wrappers when it comes to seconds although I do enjoy maduros.

These will get some rest for another 2 weeks before I fire one up and see what it's like. If they smoke great I'll be happy don't care what it looks like, but if it's a dog rocket I'll be a little fired up. Only a little cause I got theses budget smokes on sale. .. less than $2 a stick and these are some big sticks.

Here comes the waiting game, wish me luck.

What make that wrapper look crappy? Just curious.

I know this is an old thread .....but i have gotten many "o bundlesand think it's great. I just recently got a bundle of the Nicaruaguan botique overuns in thw corona size... i should say i won them on the bid and won't get them until next week but still you get the idea.
For these the desctiption is rather vaugue though they do seem to mention all AJF blends.......
here is the desciption........,

When you make millions of cigars per year and employ hundreds of rollers cranking them out by hand all day long, there are bound to be leftovers and overproduction in various sizes and styles. That's what we have here - all from the factory that brings us popular brands like Man O' War, Diesel, 5 Vegas Triple-A....you name it. Some are box-pressed, some are round, in a variety of natural, maduro, and habano blends. All long-filler cigars hand-crafted in typical, top-notch fashion with first-quality, aged tobaccos.
I'll be honest, the nature of this product created something of an inventory nightmare for me. There's a bunch of different Corona sizes (5"x42, 6.5"x42, etc.), various Robusto sizes (5"x50, 5.5"x54, etc.), and so on. Rather than count them all bundle by bundle, I'm opting to move them out in mass without sorting it all out - passing along even more value to you. Since the exact sizes and blends vary slightly, we've grouped them into 5 general sizes. You pick the general size you want and we'll randomly pick one that falls within that size category. Don't worry, every bundle contains 20 of the same exact cigar.

I really dig smaller rg's so coronas areright up my ally.

Got the nic boutique ovverruns in the corona size. ...compareD them to many of AJF (as they are supposedly his) coronas and they tasted and looked like Diesel hair of the dogs.... not a bad cigar and in fact the ones that i got are good, awesome? No but good. Medium natural wrapper that had some leather, earth, spice and nut things going on... looked and more importantly tasted like aan equdorian habano wrapper just like what they probable are. Both my friend (a very seasoned cigar guy) agreed with all the flavors. Construction was great and draw too. YMMV with what you get of course.

I built a sampler on Famous Smoke's sampler section. Mainly premium cigars but I bought some of the Oliva & Rocky Patel Factory Selects (under $3 a stick for robusto size). The Oliva Habano was darn good and will buy more. The Connecticut was good but too mild for me. Have not tried the Rocky Patel ones yet. Great for a yard gar, or moocher for sure...and nice thing about their build a sampler is for every 5 you buy, one will be free.
