BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE
Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

I agree with Rob- Saturday is the day
The smoking tent will be open Wednesday through Monday morning. I won't be there for the Pipe Show but I'd like to meet up with the group for a Friday night smoke in the tent. Who will be here and available that night?

Not sure. They had a mass exodus not too long ago. Banning and quiting. I've actually kinda got away from there lately. Just wasn't the same I guess. I joined PSF for a couple of months along with a few others. Got really nasty when some people started posting pics of stuff other than pipes. The admins removed the pics, people took offense and started posting more specifically to piss off the admins.
A bunch of guys went to another group and suddenly there was a lot of bad blood between the groups. One guy took a pic of the group owner and made him look like Hitler.
All this over a hobby? That was right around the time when the piping group here started to get quite active so I said "fuck it" and quit the two or three groups I joined on FB.
Much better vibe here, of course.

Self importance requires a person to be offended their entire lives by people, places, or things.
Why do I love BOTL? Because unless something is posted that is intentionality insulting, the brothers don't take offense. That is honestly very rare in the forum world.
Interested? Sure. But my collection of pipes are probably not going to be highly sought after. That being said, I'll bring a couple that may be of some interest.

Yeah, a lot of butthurt happened recently on a cigar forum that begins with "p" and ends with "f."
It's always been interesting to me that people would get so bent out of shape over something that could be completely resolved by hitting the big red 'X' in the top corner of their screen.

Unfortunately won't be making it out to the show this year. Got into a pretty bad car accident a few nights ago and my fund has just gone towards a "new" used vehicle. Total bummer but I have my health and so does everyone who was involved.
