I carry one of three routinely...

At work, I normally carry the Victorinox SwissMemory.

When I'm out in the field, engaged in photography, camping, fishing and the like, I carry the Victorinox Swiss Champ.

The CRKT M16-12LE is my favorite jeans pocket knife...and probably my favorite tactical folder ever. I'm seriously eyeballing the Titanium model in the larger 14T size.

I've also been considering the Wenger SAKs with cigar cutter...pretty nifty.
I really like that M16-12LE!

Right on with the CRKT M16 series! My dad used to own an archery store, and he sold CRKT knives there. I've had my M16 for years!
Have you had any problems with the little torx screws in the clip coming loose? Mine come loose all the time so I just put some loc-tite on the threads and screwed them in with pliers real tight. Beats having your knife fall out of your pocket. I haven't been able to find a small enough torx bit locally -- I think it's a T4 or T5 or T6 maybe.

Nope. I think they addressed that problem. I caught the clip on a chair cushion a while back and sprung it pretty good. I had to remove it to bend it back in shape and noticed the screws had loctite on 'em. IIRC, it's a Torx #5 because that's the smallest bit in my Brownell's kit.

I need a new knife, alot of nice suggestions here.

The Victorinox Champ that I have right now is a little bulky. I usually keep that in a backpack or my truck.

I've carried a knife since I was about 7 years old. I never leave the house without one. It's the Boy Scout in me that'll never quit.
