I need to ask, am I just extraordinarily unlucky when it comes to Caldwell cigars? This Long Live the King is the third of a 5er I've received as a NC introduction... each one has been has been as spongy as the dish scrubber in my kitchen sink. So much so, it will barely burn. I know there is a lot of love for these, but pitching 3 cigars is a rare occurrence even with all the CCs I burn. Is this common? My humidor is at 65/65, and no other sticks (so far) have had this problem.

I haven't noticed that. However, I've long held that Long Live the Kings don't taste very good.

Eastern Standard, The King is Dead and The Last Tsar/Czar are all quite good.

Blind Man's Puff... not so much.
Thats funny... I enjoyed the ES, TKID, and Tsar, but the LLTK and BMB were my two favorites!

It's a bummer, I actually like their cigars. Hopefully they get over poor construction.
This. I'm not a big fan of the L&F collaboration, but all of the Caldwell stuff has been great flavor-wise.

To me, Blind Man's Puff was very whatever. The flavor seemed to be tobacco and little else. Just sort of whatever. I've smoked two Long Live the Kings, and both were bad. Meaning the flavor.

But to each their own!
