BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE
Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Peterson pipes are well made and not hard on the pocketbook. I have a couple that I tend to only smoke Latakia blends in. I think they are about $100, so not too shabby
I got the Tank L. Drilled perfectly(which hasn't been the case with a few previous Peterson pipe purchases). Fit and finish was very good.

Observe everything. Listen intently.
Sometimes you'll get a pipe and the draft hole isn't centred, too far left, right, up or down. Have heard Peterson can be notorious for it, only have 1 pipe from them, from @CaptainRon (cheers bro) and the drilling a perfect. Just hard because there are no real pipe stores in Oz, I have to buy online, we can only pickup shit pipes and the odd falcon in B&Ms here, because of the blind purchasing I have steered clear of Peterson, but if you get a good one they are great!

Those are some beautiful looking pipes.
I have a couple of Irish Seconds, which are Peterson's. I like them, but one, the hole is high in the bowl. I've thought about putting pipe mud in the bottom, to lower the hole. Curious if anyone has tried doing that.

From PipeDivan? I have one from them on the way as well...and one from SmokingPipes. I keep my fingers crossed every time with the draft hole drilling...

That happened to me with a Peterson Ashford in the Deerstalker shape. The other orders went through just fine.
