Thanks APBT American Bulldog cross

That was my second guess. Couldn't quite tell how big she was. The white ones almost always have some American in them. I have an AmStaff who topped out at just <90 lbs, that leads me to believe he has some AB in him too.

The boys got in a fight I got bit pretty good... im pretty bummed out..
Sorry to hear that, brother. It does happen, however. Hope you weren't hurt too bad. A friend of ours raises Italian Greyhounds. Two of her dogs were fighting over a bone and she tried to get in the middle. One of them almost ripped her lower lip completely off and they're small dogs. sometimes it's best to keep your distance .

A guy on another forum I'm on just had the tip of his pinky finger bit clean off trying to separate two dogs fighting. If you have to intervene, grab both hind legs of one and pull. Keep clear of the mouth for sure.

I'll have to remember that ! I had a toy box lid right next to me but it all happened so fast... the rescue group we work with is sending out a trainer that specializes in large breed a aggression . Hope I learn a few things. There both angels when separated and look at me as there pack leader

Just took in this little princess named Trixie last night. The other dogs at her previous home (friends of the family) kept harassing her and picking fights so they asked us to take her on a trial basis to make sure she got along with my big dumb oaf. No fights yet, but they are still feeling each other out and Trixie will give a low growl when Duke gets closer than she wants. I am confident they will get along and she loves sticking right by my side. Right now she's guarding my tobacco as I roll sticks between work calls.

What a beautiful little face. Props to you for taking her in, brother.

Anyone familiar with pits? Had this guy show up on my back porch few nights ago. Didn't like me at first but after sitting with him for 30 minutes he let me pet him and look him over. The shiny spots on his fur is blood. Can't tell what happened to him. Long story short it was 3 am so I feed him and hoped he would stick around and called animal control in the morning. He was very good with me and let me put him in the truck. Wouldnt let animal control but I think it's cause they were afraid of him so he was afraid too. Have to wait 72 hours before I can try and adopt him. I'd like to do just that but not sure how it will go with other dogs. Anyone had experience with rescue dogs that are aggressive. All of mine have been rescued from people abusing them not (possibly) fighting with dogs. I don't know he was fighting but something got him pretty good. Also he looks pretty young to me but I'm not great at judging age.
