5, 6, 7--

#5-- Padron 1926 No. 90 -- the predictable Padron (haven't tried-- how is it?)
#6-- Fuente Rosado Gran Riserva 4 7/8 x 47 the predictable Fuente (generally love the brand, haven't tried this one yet)
#7-- Norteno Robusto Grande-- (haven't tried either-- not usually a huge fan of Drew Estates, but the guys I smoke with generally are so I'm sure I'll end up trying it. What do you all think?)

Predictions for the top 4?

I'm not very high on the CA yearly list. I prefer top lists focused on cigars released within the review year and even with that aside, I'm always a bit shocked by some cigars that make the list...but that's my palate's opinion.

I love the Norteno blend, but the shape of the cigars, a flat press, is absolutely horrible.

The Hoyo Epicure #2 is one of my least favorite Cuban cigars. Figures it made CA's Top Ten.
I used to think the same thing. Then I tore through half a box of mouth watering '08s last summer. As with all tobacco, crop/leaf quality will make it or break it.

I agree with you in general, but I have had many different years of Epis. Some of my friends take it as a challenge...."I've got a stellar box of '03s (or insert any year here), you're going to love it.

Nope.

I've only had the Oliva and the Punch. Here's what gets me about the Punch - it's already been in the Top 25! Same vitola, same blend! You mean to tell me that there are weren't 25 better sticks than something that came out and was reviewed 4 years ago? Why in the world did they review it again? I've been a fan of that little line for ten years, but there are new, better quality cigars out there.

With that said, CA sucks. They lost me when after my first subscription when all I saw were ads for $5,000 watches, 50 year old scotch, and cars that cost more than my house. That stuff is nice to look at, but it's not realistic for the average person. Then, instead of actually reviewing and writing about cigars that people like us, true "aficionados" want to smoke, they put a 10 year old Punch in the Top Ten, and put RP as the second best cigar of the year. Where are Tatuaje, Crowned Heads, or cigars that actually came out this year?

To quote the Walking Dead's Abraham, CA can "suck my nuts".

Nothing really surprises me so far, don't necessarily agree with a few on the list. Really surprised the Natural Padron 90th made the list over the Maduro, that Maduro is freakin amazing, right @goodsmokes ?
I agree @Craig Mac , no idea how the natural 90th made it over the maduro. The maduro 90th has so much more flavor than the natural and is such a better smoke imo. One of my favorite cigars for this year.

I agree with @hdroadglide as well, CA is a complete joke...

LFD Andalusian Bull is number one!

I am very new to LFD, so it sounds reasonable to me. Anyone tried one of these yet?
