A pair of maternity capris that she wanted and a card.

 Let her wear your old fat man jeans or some old pair of sweat pants from the bottom dresser drawer. :rolling: :rolling: :rolling: :rolling:

Seriously David, ya gotta make the pregnant woman feel good about herself. The capris will do the trick

I'm not sure what to do about Valentines. I've been dating a girl the past few weeks. We're progressing nicely and I believe it may last a while, but I don't think it's been long enough for hearts and roses. I know I need to do something. Just not sure what.

She has already staked claim to some of my Joe Boxer pajama bottoms.

I think the Capris are for teaching in.

Dang, that's a tough one. You have to acknowledge the day, for sure, but things can be so touchy at that point in a relationship. If you can find out, a bouqet of her favorite non-rose flowers would probably be a good option. Roses are tough...Red and you might be saying too much, yellow and you may be saying the wrong thing...Black and it's time to start looking for a new girlfriend!

Good luck Brian, I don't envy you.

Dinner and some flowers.

I would typically have a gift for her as well, but there has been a bit of contention around money. I'm conflicted - it's great to have a girl that refuses to be a financial burden, but she's unhappy because she's broke all the time. I'm not interested in entirely supporting her, but I don't mind helping. Sorry... off topic.

I'll be in St. Louis all next week , so I'll call the FTS and have them send her something nice, (we don't have any 7-11 stores here in MN, like CA. CWS will get his flowers there)......:halfgrinw

i got her a new living room..

she has always wanted me to blow out the wall that divides my living room from my dining room.. so i did it while she is away training for her new therapist job.

blew the wall out, dropped a new ceiling, sanded the floors, painted the walls, put in some crown molding, threw in some recessed lighting, hung the new plasma, wired ALL the wires (home theater etc) inside the walls.

it looks awesome.. i cannot wait for her to come home on the 14th.. will post before/after pics when its finished, if anyone is interested!
