Ha! Yeah, how is it? Habanos are flawless and perfect and without issue. As long as you only get hand picked Reservas from an obscure vendor hardly anyone knows about.... Why do you tag me in stuff that makes you look like a tool? It just doesn't make sense.
I was joking bro I told you not to get mad :)

And it’s not an obscure vendor, people know and some people don’t. I just don’t hold peoples hands when it comes to sources. That’s not how it works.

Chill bro it’s just internet talk :)

I still don't understand why your sources have to be so secretive. If I don't know them by now, I never will. I've been scouring the internet and ordering from all kinds of vendors for the last year, and have yet to find anybody that is really that great. Most are overpriced. Lol it's not like I'm going to steal all their cigars dude

Nothing personal, you joined like a
Month ago... and you expect people to just give you vendor info?

This board is more about interaction than spreading vendor info.

Hardly something to complain about

The GOV doesn't care about a couple boxes of Habanos. No offense or anything...
Ultimately, money makes the world go 'round. That's pretty much it

The government cares about hundreds of thousands of boxes being sold to to people who aren't paying import taxes on a product. They loose money go after the company. Then we loose them as a vender. Or someone correct me if I'm wrong.

+1 hang out for a bit and maybe then you might “know”. If you are scouring the internet and think most are overpriced then you might never know, you know

I've been buying from everyone too. Just to see who has the best service...the cheapest legit retailers don't even ship to the US. I tried to pay and it wouldn't let me

I've seen it happen. Changes in where they'll ship, no more tracking numbers, some have changed their "guarantee". Things can happen.

I'll give you some advise derboe. You're new here. Do the usual say hello to everyone. Get to know them some. Blah blah. Have you done a newb trade yet? Have you bombed brothers in a brotherly love kinda way? If you do some trades guys will give you some Cubans over time and you'll be able to sample and get a bit of a palette for them. Once we get to know you they'll eventually even be willing to trade a sampler that doesn't have to sit 3 years. Why buy a box of $200+ sticks if you have no clue if you'll like them. It's already risky enough that a box of them are notoriously inconsistent and you'll sit on them for 2-3 years average before you even know if you'll love them. You have to put in time and cut you're teeth in this hobby bud. Get some trader rating going, do some lay it forwards and earn my trust and I'll happily give you some vender names. Especially if you bomb

You're right, I am new. Also, I have lived in Afghanistan for over a year now, and Kuwait for a year before that. The benefit of that is that I travel a lot, and am always picking up cigars at the duty free. When I am home, I can definitely head to the post office for anyone that wants anything. I'll be back for a bit in June and July. If you guys have suggestions of what you want, let me know. Especially if you know what box codes to look out for too, and i'll grab them for you.
I buy boxes on the reviews I have read, and the potential that they will age well (3-5 years or more). I know everyone's tastes differ, but I'm willing to take the chance. If I don't like a certain think at that time, I will revisit it 6 months to a year later.
