Today's Bourbon

Picked this up today, reccomended by the store owner, it is new to NM.
Unique hazelnut after taste. Not bad for 33.00 but not thrilled either.

That's actually one of my top 10 bourbons that I've tried. It has a very unique dry finish to it and like you said, the price is certainly right!

That with a single cherry and a splash of orange butter would be a nice accent. Always taste the bourbon first before mixing though to appreciate and train your palette.

I rarely mix anything with Bourbon, but will on very rare occasion for something like Irish coffee.

This sounds like it'd be great for that.

Haha yeah. I was in the mood for something special just because and figured I’d go with this and wait on the GTS and WLW until my dad can join me.

I really liked it. Had a nice lighter oak notes, vanilla, maybe cinnamon or some other baking spices.

How do the OWA and ORVW10 compare? Same mashbill, same proof. A few more years on the VW, and probably better rickhouse location, but a lot of opportunity for similarity...
