Yes, MSRP like @marshall9779 said, and rarely do you see it at that price. Me, I'd buy 3
Thanks everyone. That’s what I was thinking. Weird they are only charging retail when the Weller 107 is priced twice it’s MSRP at $100 ($50 retail increase since January I believe). I’ll definitely pick up a bottle next time it’s restocked

Friend from SoCal send me samples of three bourbon/ryes from a craft distillery in Cali.

Had the bourbon a couple nights ago. Kind of muddled, quite a bit of malt flavor. And strangely enough, a few times there was a finish that tasted a lot like Hershey's Syrup. o_O

I had the rye last night, and got nothing. It made Buffalo Trace seem strong and complex.

My friend said that the cask strength rye was heads over tail the best. I'll drink that this weekend, I sure hope so.

After that I had a pour of Eagle Rare to finish off that bottle. No stronger than the Re-Find, but much tastier.

Interesting samples. I hear what you’re saying about the malt character. There’s one whiskey that displayed a malty note that I can’t quite put my finger on. I wasn’t too keen on it though.

Speaking of Eagle Rare, I wanted to share two pictures with the forum. The first is the cork from my 2nd ever Bourbon I tried back in summer 2015.

The second picture you can clearly see the old Woodford Reserve bottle print layout. This was the very bottle that got me into this exciting hobby. I plan on repurposing it somehow, maybe as a soap dispenser.

Guys I'm screwed. I should not have tried a real rye. This was really good.

Sorry for your troubles. I will be happy to take it off your hands if it’s too good to bear

First pour in the new apartment and I wanted it to be special. Haven’t uncorked this since January

Had a second pour of the Re-Find Rye. Exactly opposite the bourbon, the second pour had some decent rye flavor compared to the non-existent rye in the first.

Tried the Cask Strength Rye next. Lots of heat, but not lots of flavor. I think these distillers may be on the right track, but the whiskey is just way too young to compete with much of the stull out there.

At $60-$75 a bottle, I won't be purchasing any from Re-Find at this point. My $26 a liter pour was hands-down the best pour of the night.

Nothing too special but a very smooth and sweet bourbon I paired with 2 year old davidoff Florida selection. It’s definitely not a bourbon for purist but a very nice change of pace that leaves a very nice after taste.

Cracked my Booker's Kentucky Chew last night. Great flavor, mouth feel, rye heat, long finish. I'd put it up there with Country Ham as one of my favorites after the Teresa's Batch.

It was Saturday night and no gym or anything today so I had two pours of the Bookers. And then I moved on to 2 pours of New Riff Rye. I was still able to make it upstairs afterwards with nary a stumble. (Pre pour pic).

All your Bookers talk and pics got me looking to buy some. I have a bottle that I seem to overlook in my bar. Maybe today is the day to re-visit it.

Old Forester has put out some quality lines.
For a whiskey that always seemed like i was getting cherry flavored robatussin from it, I can’t believe how far ahead it’s moved up the ranks. It’s quickly becoming my favorite line. Actually coincidentally this was my most recent pour last night:

Which batch to you have currently? Looking forward to hearing your thoughts when you revisit.

I only have batches going back to 2017, I've seen some unreal Booker's collections on a FB group. That being said, I am a drinker and not a collector, so my bottles won't last forever.

I've picked up all the older bottles within the last couple months, so there are older batches out there. Find the little stores with a few bottles and good possibility you'll find something 2-3 years old. That being said, two of my 3 favorite batches are from 2019, Teresa's and Country Ham.
