La Vuelta Abajo
rolled July 2018
(I would not have guessed that Vuelta was so long ago; but that's what my spreadsheet tells me, and the file date on that band image agrees)

2 part Dominican Vuelta Abajo seco
1 part Brazilian Mata Fina
bound in Dominican Olor
wrapped in Criollo 98

Now yielding some tremendous nub-worthy smokes two years down the line.

Accompanied by a glass of Diplomatico, which is a Venezuelan rum

Life is good.
May I live to enjoy today's blends two years hence.

Golden Hair robusto ROTT outta Maks's beautiful home-made 2-gar 50rg Churchill mold. Love that mold. Such an utter snap to use.

You know, I spent all last year rolling plumpfectos cause they were difficult to perfect. Now, I find myself drawn to bustos cause they are such a snap to make. They do chew thru the leaf; but they take next to no time.

I know I have a bigger cap cutter round here somewheres... Gotta dig it up. This corona cap looks skimpy on a 50rg busto.

Been playing around using different capping styles. I’m drawn to the Dominican technique but I never get as flat of a cap with it, still have some ways to go with my torpedo caps, hopefully perseverance will triomphe some day.
