I’ve been looking at an upgrade from my 18 and 28 bottle winadors to a single larger cabinet. I always wanted an Aristocrat but apparently they no longer make humidors.
Looks like it’s either an Avallo or one of those Quality Importer units (all seem to be made in China).
Any input or suggestions?

This would be my 50th bday treat so I’m really looking for some quality. My winos have served me well but the 28 is starting to have issues so I’m taking it as a sign to upgrade.

I got an Avallo 2000 Cooled earlier this year. About 6 months ago. Literally not a single complaint or issue. Humidity is rock solid. Temp control works flawlessly. Now I just need to keep spending to fill it up. Let me know if you have any questions. I’m happy to give you any feedback I can.

I appreciate that. I’ll keep obsessing and keep reading and get back with questions if I have any.
First one that comes to mind... what was the turn time between order and shipping?

Not sure what your budget is but I got this cabinet from Quality Importers last year as a gift from my wife. Yeah it’s from China and not perfect but once I made a few minor adjustments, I have been very pleased with it. The door was a tad off but I quickly adjusted it by drilling new holes for the hinge screws and it’s perfect now. I also added thin flat rubber gasket trim around the inside of the door for a better seal and aquarium silicone around the inside electrical receptacle to help stop any humidity from leaking. Unit looks great in our house and holds humidity like a champ. For the money, I’m very happy with it.

This was about my turnaround time too.

I also have an avallo (not cooled as it's kept in the basement), I literally forget about checking it and when I check my SensorPush data for weeks on end, it's barely moved. Quite the investment, took a while to get (and very little communication) but I can tell you it's worth it IMO. If you're someone that is going to need constant status updates, etc, I'd avoid.

More space, looks good so I don’t have to hide it and it’s my 50th.... I want a nice cabinet.
A friend of mine ordered one from China and it's pretty legit. They're all over Facebook.

But if you want a cabinet, Facebook marketplace and Craigslist are your two options and some driving might be involved

Avallo cabinets are very good and their electronics are excellent. A good value all around.
