I'm kinda lost here. Why do you need a lounge. There are no B&M's or resturants that can handle this group?

we could, i suppose, but this place has a really nice cigar lounge. big comfy chairs. just thought it would be neat.

there are a few nice restraunts around there too. a very nice italian restraunt called Victorias about a block away and a really cool mongolian bbq called Mongos about 2 blocks away. and as far as bars are concerned, c'mon its wi. there are about 10 within a block radius. but i dont know off-hand what the smoking laws in appleton are.

I've been moving to a new house and working like crazy, so haven't been on much.

May 19th sounds great right now.

Oh, and as far as the lounge thing, because Appleton Souvenir & Cigar is in the city limits, that's the only place we can smoke other than out on the street. I live out in one of the other townships, so I can go wherever and smoke (other than in the house).

im willing to put up a hundred for the lounge i figure that would cover some of the brothers that are coming from far away to have a little more traveling money. i figure ive got todd covered and ray covered and maybe a couple more. (i know that gas aint cheap!!)

as far as airfare is concerend.... im sure donk will cover that....:rolling:

a little update. Donks post that the lounge would cost $150 is true, if we want it all to ourselves. since i dont see more than 10 of us being there, this doesnt make sense. a few months ago, the lounge was members only, but recently it has been opened to the public so i dont think wed have to pay anything.


oh yea..... they now carry Opus X's!!!!!!

Oh man if they have Opus X at a decent price I'm going to stock up like mad. ("Like mad" meaning I'll buy as many as my bank account will let me, which is probably between 0 and 1.)

Those are surprisingly good prices! Most of the stores around here don't seem to have any Opus X, and the one that consistently does charges $25 a stick. That's just insane.

Sheesh, I don't show up there for a few months and they finally start changing over their stock to some of the better stuff.

Actually, the lounge has gone "public" for the last 2 years. They couldn't get enough people to sign up to keep it as private only.

Sorry I didn't meet up with you guys on Saturday, my parents didn't leave until almost 9pm.

Yeah, they're pretty slow with the site updates. In fact, they had a email list going for a while, but I think it only lasted about 2 issues before the person doing it graduated college and headed out west for a job. No one has picked up the ball since.

I found a lighter on the table, it's like a black metallic and I was just wondering if it was yours. Chris, the guy working said it did not belong to the shop.
