  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

You guys are tearing the ass outta me! Based one what? Which NC's???
Have you both had a Rojas Carnitas for example???
No.
That would be a no I have heard good things about them from Tom and others, but it's been 20 years since I smoked a NC. When I started smoking cigars I smoked every cigar that was in the newest issue of CA to find what I liked. I slowly added a CC once a month then a few a month with my beloved AF Hemingways & Padron 1964. Then like over night I was all in and never looked back even when I worked at a cigar lounge I would bring my own in. :ROFLMAO: I still kept up on all the ratings and flavors as I had to recommend cigars to all the patrons. I know that the last NC I smoked was a dominican and the metal after taste was terrible. If I was to supplement in some NCs I would definitely go with Nicaragua & Honduran!

I know the metallic taste you talking about but not all Dominicans are the same. I've had a few in the past couple months that were excellent.
It's like San Fransisco....out of state folks think everyone from SF is gay. Not true, just a generalization.
I think some cigar companies are hacks, but not all of them.

Tried smoking a pipe? I understand it's not for everyone, and has a bit of a learning curve.
Not that any pipe tobacco is going to replace the cc twang, but the variety of flavors is vast.

The variety is huge. It is a whole different smoking experience but well worth the time for a change of pace. It also helps a cigar smoker pay more attention to their cadence which gives a much better appreciation of the cigar's flavors.

Love smoking a pipe in cold weather. Cavendish, maybe cliche, but it’s my go-to. I started smoking a pipe around the same time as I started cigars, but cigars took over rather quickly. I still grab the pipe in Winter, though. I live in Texas, so it’s not that cold for too long
