  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

My new bike - hotness!

Well, I bought another bike this weekend, I'm totally in love with it:

2004 Carrera Hercules RC Bicycle
Handmade Italian frame/fork from the Carrera Podium factory. Aluminum front frame,
carbon rear seat stays and chain stays, and carbon fork. Full Campagnolo Chorus gruppo.

Only about a hundred of this particular frame were imported to the U.S., so the odds of
seeing another like it are slim. And the way this one is setup--whew, it's just sick.

I know you guys aren't cyclists, but I figured I'd post pics anyways.

That is gorgeous!!! I want one of the Phat bikes, but will fit to any decent one I can get. Too bad it's so bloody rough to bike in Mexico City.

Not many--yet. I'm still a bike noob!

I've been riding my other bike (a Surly cross check) 3 to 4 times per week for about 6 months around the lake by my house. It's a 10 mile round trip--so 30 or 40 miles per week. My short term goal is to be able to ride around twice per trip, so 20 miles 3 or 4 times a week...and then increase my frequency to 5 days a week. That'd put me around 100 per week. I hope to be up to that level by fall, and then maybe start joining some club rides.

I also need to loose about 10 to 12 pounds to really be at better riding weight.

"Bicycle, bicycle, bicycle. I want to ride my bicycle…" blah, blah. Nice looking bike there. To bad mine has been eaten by Ivy, hehehehehe, it looks funny!
