We were in Pigeon Forge over the week end. We left to come home on
Sunday. Traffic was moving slow & a car in front of us had an Obama bumper
sticker on it. It read: "Pray for Obama. Psalm 109:8".

My husband's Bible was lying on the dash board & he got it & opened
it up to the scripture & read it. He started laughing & laughing. Then he
read it to me. I couldn't believe what it said. I had a good laugh, too..

Psalm 109:8
"Let his days be few; and let another take his place of leadership. "

We've had some pretty shitty presidents. Hell the whole government is pretty shitty if you ask me. Obama is just the current poster child to want out of office.

I personally would like the entire government change. All new members of Congress, all new judges in the supreme court (chosen by the people, no executive privilege), and replace the entire executive branch along with the different Secretaries of the military.

I don't get it. So is the bumper sticker using scripture to suggest that Obama was to replace Bush or that someone will replace Obama?

And Bush did a fantastic job........
Don't be quick to assume the president has that much absolute power. President Obama is pushing for things moreso than other presidents have in the past and is meddling in the business of other people, but for the most part the President isn't the cause of problems, congress is. For the majority of President Bush's term there was a democratic congress. Democrats were the decision makers, Bush's only absolute power was the veto. The president cannot just pass a law, congress had to make the law and the president can approve it. Thank your liberal congress for problems. Not to mention a national attack a few months after he was elected into office.

I'm not afraid of the decisions Obama will make, I'm afraid of the things he'll allow congress to do. The president isn't our threat here, the libs in congress are.

not really funny.... humf.

I think it's a funny joke, made me laugh even though I was and am an Obama supporter. I saw that same bumper sticker when Bush was in power during the last election - so it can go either way. Everyone who's party is out of power needs to keep up the faith until it swings back around - I sure made my share of lighthearted Bush jokes for 8 years. :D

Course I didn't post my jokes on internet forums where I know about half the people don't agree with me and it will just cause strife... ;P
