I just bought a Tat branded Lotus table lighter for $30. I'll keep my steel one and let someone else pay $130 more for the fancy finish.

Yeah I am not sure why The Big Easy is selling them in sets. The retailers that bought them had to buy them in sets but most are breaking them up. The "limit 3 sets per customer" was for my retailers. I think he forgot to remove that from my picture before emailing it to his clients.....

FYI, The craftsmanship on these pieces is the best and the combination of Ebony wood and Sterling is not cheap. These are hand made and finished in Los Angeles by Cyril Brizard from Brizard & Co. formally Atoll. Cyril busted his ass making these perfect for me.

I am sure they are not for everyone and most here are probably not interested but please don't take anything away from the artist who spent countless hours making these one of a kind beautiful pieces....

Cyril is the bomb! I thought that lighter looked like an atoll (I didn't know they changed the name).

I'm pretty sure I got one of the last if not the last brown ostrich skin retro lighters. I love it.

I know it's someone's own opinion but what in your opinion makes them not worth the price? I would love to hear why you think they are not worth the prices.

I bought a bass guitar once made in China and it cost a few hundred dollars. The same company makes the same exact bass guitar in the U.S.A. and it costs almost 5 times the one made in China. They both played well and had no issues with sound quality with the one made in China but the USA one was better. I couldn't afford the one made in the USA but I didn't discount it's worth.

It's not worth spending my money on a fancy humidor or even a coolidor when I can just use tupperware.
It's not worth spending my money on a Mac when I can just buy an Emachine.
It's not worth spending my money on Monster cables when I can just buy No Name brand cables.

These may be a better ways of looking at it.....

Sorry for my harsh rant, having said that, I really needed to state my own humble opinion....

These comments are well taken. Very personal and constructive but not discounting the worth of the product.
Kind of like, I love the looks of Brooks photography and wish I could use him full time. I just wish it was in my price level. LOL Gotcha Brooks.....

I wish they would have come in cheaper but Cyril's work is not cheap and again made in the USA. Talk to one of the retailers that have them and strike a deal if you really want a piece. I am sure they are willing to listen.

The made in the USA is a big thing for me. I was going to buy the Tatuaje Table Lighter but maybe I will save my pennies and buy the Triunfador 3 Flame Table Torch. This way I can have a unique lighter. I just hope they are around after Christmas.

i think in these days, we are forced to look at price first without regard to quality. i have no doubt that these products must be excellent quality or pete wouldn't put his brand on it. much like his cigars, they cost a little more, but you get what you pay for.
if you can't afford it, as i can't, then you admire it and move on. but to summarily dismiss it as a bad product because of it's cost is not fair. i guess right now i have to spend my money on the best cigars rather than the best accessories. my 2 centavos.

...my 2 centavos.
And those are cheap!

Pete, I see what ye mean. I personally love sterling silver, but the stuff just isn't me style. They look good, but for someone else that may appreciate them better. And that has the money right now. :smokingbo
