  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

    Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

I've always been fascinated with the history of Ybor City. These past few weeks, I've been doing some research on Ybor's cigar factories. Today, I posted the first in a series of articles that talk about the factory buildings that are still in existence. Here is the link to the main index page: The Cigar Factories of Ybor City

I'll be adding new posts to the main page at least once a week, perhaps twice a week as I have at least 24 articles on the subject.

So, what websites do you like to visit besides normal retail sites?

Small Batch Cigar
As the name implies, they specifically sell short run and small batch cigars, with attention to customer service and special requests.

Great online resource for keeping up on all the latest news, releases, future product, and non-biased reviews of short run and special releases of both NC and CC cigars. Searchable database for past reviews and info.

Cigar Consignment
Although this site appears to be losing steam (not many new additions recently) they sell reg production and hard to find cigars on behalf of private sellers/collectors. They currently have a sealed Tat Black Jar autographed by Pete...(drool)

The Cuban Cigar Website
I have watched this site grow from it's initial, meager launch to the current, all-encompassing authority on Cuban cigars. This site is just packed with info, stats, production #'s, pictures and tons of info on Havanas.

Online Humidor
This site is intended to be an online, non-retail marketplace for cigars. Although there is a trader rating system much like BOTL or eBay, it IS a buyer beware situation...Do your homework! Not very much in the area of camaraderie or brotherhood....Really it's strictly a buy, sell, and trade site.
