Anybody heard of this one?

Noooo.

Dark Lord is a massive Russian Imperial Stout...They did a one-off aged in Pappy barrels. Doubtful we'll ever get our hands on it though, looks to be a charity thing.

oh I have gotten my hands on something very similar. One of the guys at the local shop is also a home brewer. he and a friend got a pappy barrel and brewed and aged a large amount of stout in it. hell it even had almost 2 quarts of pappy still in it. they aged it for 18 months. let me tell you it is the best beer I have ever had. nothing like it. it is black as night and will put you on your ass. If you can get a barrel do so and it is so worth the time.
