Royal Jamaica - Lonsdale size on a brisk early winter day while sitting at a park in downtown Columbus, Ohio. Remember it like it was yesterday. Ended up going back into that shop about 5 times that day and buying more cigars.

My first cigar was a Drew Estate Java back in flight school (2008). I ended up meeting a few friends at a local humidor and the owner knowing we were all military helped me find something that I'd enjoy as a first cigar. I told him I like coffee he pointed me in the right direction. My tastes have slowly evolved to where I'm not the biggest fan of infused any more. I used to love Acids and now I'm more of a non-infused guy... but I'll still smoke a Java any day of the week.

My first was a Swisher Sweet...and I loved it. Had it at a retreat for my fraternity freshman year of college ten years ago.

Thankfully I've moved on to better things.

Macanudo, buddy stole a box from a grocery store. We walked around like kings for the next few weeks. backwoods and swishers after that. Until one day I walked into a killer lounge where they were watching The Godfather. Bought a $5 Oliva and skipped the last half of a work day.

Vanilla-Flavored churchill from a local shop here in Austin on New Year's Eve 99/00. Then about a year's worth of Macanudos til I found the OR Camacho diplomas, which pretty much changed what I smoked from there on out.
