BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE
Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

The majority of CC's fall into the same category as vintage wines; with a reference year, and how they are processed. The majority of NC's would fall into that same category as a non vintage wine; no age statement and processed for consistency through the years without a hic-up in... -

Noella's are perfect candidates for long term aging. I do agree that when Tatuaje was getting tobacco from the market it was a little better but also a little inconsistent. I think that with Pepin having his own farm it has improved a lot- both in quality and consistency. -
Storage-Boxes open or closed
Freezing won't do anything bad to the cigar except get the volatile oils to crystallize. Try it on something from altadis....something that won't be missed:laugh: -
What is plume?
plume does nothing for me. I don't chase after it- and neither happy or excited by seeing it (except on something with an oscuro wrapper cause I almost expect it at smoe point in time). -

open boxes oxidize faster, not age faster. Oxygen is bad if you want to age your cigars fom wat I've been told...leave it shut and let it do what it does best. hendy...if it's plume you want stick a cigar in a glass tube and leave it in the sun for a few days, get the oils flowing! Stick the... -
Tatuaje tubo verocu misfire
Easily fixed. Wet the wrapper. Get it under a faucet then just blot it dry and smoke it. It'll give the wrapper a little more elasticity since it's a little more wet. Tobacco is hygroscopic and the binder will take the humidity out of the wrapper leaving the overly humidified filler to expand... -

Pre Embargo tobacco cigars
They still make the Fumas but it's only for sale in Florida from what I hear. They make them for the older guys and want to keep them for the older guys so they don't distribute them like they used to.
